In this bizarre age of COVID, too many of us approach our lives out of a place of fear.
But before we can transform our external world, we must first change our own hearts and minds.
The next time you feel afraid, make a conscious decision to be courageous in the face of that fear.
This is the most powerful example we can be to our family, our friends and the people we care about most.
Because courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is feeling the fear and doing it anyways.
Feel the fear, set it aside and be courageous in the face of it.
My challenge to you today is to write down your three biggest fears.
Beside each one, write down three ways you can act courageously in the face of it. Then implement those courageous acts into your life.
Fear doesn’t actually exist. It’s a bogeyman, a manufactured creation that only exists inside our minds.
When I stare my fear in the face, feel it, accept it and then set it aside so I can be courageous in the face of it, I will feel better, not only about what’s going on in that specific instance, but about myself and everything going on in my life.
My bet is the same is true for you.
My challenge for you today, then, is to be the best example of humanity you can be for your family, your friends, and the people you care about most.
Then share with me what happened, and how that experience changed you. (Because it will change you!)
I can’t wait to hear!
Have a fantastic rest of your day!
