Every morning, I wake up, grab a notebook and pen and I write down all the things I’m grateful for, and perhaps why I’m grateful for them.
This grounds me. It centers me. It puts my mind in that right state so I can approach the rest of my day with compassion, courage and purpose.
If you haven’t developed this habit, I highly encourage you to start today.
Grab a notebook and pen, set a 5-minute timer and write down everything you’re grateful for today. If you want to write longer than 5 minutes, great, but please don’t shortchange yourself and write for less than that.
The power of these habit is immersing yourself in your gratitude for at least 5 minutes each day.
How do you feel as you begin the rest of your day?
Awesome, right?
