Day 14: I Am Thankful For All Of Those Who Said NO To Me. It’ Because Of Them I’ Doing It Myself.

I am thankful for all of those who said “No” to me. It’s because of them I’m doing it myself.

What this means to me is that, instead of relying on others to help me achieve my dreams, I must do that hard work myself.

When I do, I am far happier, far more fulfilled, and far more excited about my day and about my life.

Conversely, if I’m NOT excited about what I’m doing today, I really need to ask myself, “Why I am I doing it?”

Ultimately, it’s about personal responsibility.

When we give someone else the power to say yes or no, to give us permission to do something, we make ourselves subservient to someone else’s whim, someone else’s desires.

That’s no way to live a life, certainly not a life of gratitude, love, joy, compassion and fulfillment.

Examine your life to see where you’re not taking responsibility for the outcome and figure out a way to do so.

And if someone told you, “No” and you’ve been upset by that, take a look at that circumstance and see if their “No” wasn’t actually an opportunity for you to grab the reins of your own life and move it forward at a pace faster than anyone else can imagine.

We all have that power inside of us.

Yes, that includes you.

But it’s not until we grab onto that power, own it and use it every single day that we can possibly move forward and achieve the dream we have for our life.
