Day 49: Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.

To achieve the dreams I have for my life, I must take effective action every single day.

I must focus my time, talent and energy on the activities that move me forward in the most direct path possible, and ignore all the rest.

It’s easy to be motivated for an hour, for a day, and even a week, but what happens when motivation fails me?

On these days, I need positive habits that kick in and move me forward.

For example, every day at 2 o’clock Pacific, I livestream a video to social media.

This positive habit allows me to bring gratitude, love, joy and compassion to my family, friends and the people I care about most.

It works because the decision is removed from the equation.
